The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 battle royal mode, which is known as “Blackout” is currently running a free to play promotion. It starts today and will run until January 24th.
Typically you could either get the full version of the game ($50), which would include a co-op Zombie mode or you could get the “Battle Edition” ($35), which only includes multiplayer and Blackout modes.
Just like other battle royale games, Call of Duty: Black Ops Blackout mode starts with 100 players on a single map until only one remains.
