Conclusion
The Cooler Master X6 Elite is one of the most unique looking CPU coolers we’ve seen in a while. However, just getting it installed can be a big issue for even the simplest of cases. Its cooling performance isn’t that great either, and by far the worst we’ve tested in our current system.
The X6 Elite is available at my favorite retailer for $49.99, which makes it one of the more expensive on the market. I certainly don’t think it’s worth the price, considering its lack of proper installation and its poor cooling performance. ThinkComputers would like to award the Cooler Master X6 Elite CPU Cooler a 6 out of 10 score.

Pros:
- Honeycomb fin design
- Unique angle positioning
Cons:
- Will not work with oversized RAM
- Will not fit in small cases or ones with large side panel fans
- Sub-par cooling performance
