Flash Padlock 2 Overview
The Padlock 2 is designed just like Corsair’s Voyager family of drives so it’s housed in all rubber. Being housed in rubber makes it practically indestructible. You can throw this flash drive in water, throw it off a building and even freeze it and your data will be safe! Even the activity LED on the front of the drive is covered in rubber.
The main difference between this drive and the Padlock 2 and the Flash Voyager is of course the buttons on the front of the drive. You have a large key button and 5 smaller number buttons. Just like the rest of the drive all of these are made out of rubber as well.
Many people do not know that these drives are waterproof. The cap of the drive is made of rubber and when you put it on the top of the drive it makes a watertight seal. Another thing you may not notice about the drive is the small piece of rubber on the top of the cap. This makes sure if you drop the drive that small piece of rubber will take most of the force of the drop.
