Crucial DDR5-4800 32GB Memory Kit Review

Final Thoughts

As I mentioned at the beginning of this review one of the harder pieces to find for an Alder Lake build is DDR5 memory. This market is still not flooded with a ton of modules like we see with DDR4 and the flashy modules with RGB lighting are extremely expensive. So getting a kit like this makes sense as you can save some money, but you still get some pretty awesome performance overall and remember that extra money saved could go towards a faster SSD or better graphics card.

Being that this memory is set at the JEDEC speed of 4800 MHz it is going to work right off the bat with minimal setup, simple just enable the XMP profile and you are good to go. You don’t need to make sure you have the latest BIOS or anything like that.

This kit is about as plain-jane as you can get, but it is good to see Crucial put out a kit like this so early adopters have an relatively inexpensive option that gets the job done.

Right now you can pick this kit up for $291 at our favorite online retailer. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Crucial DDR5-4800 32GB Memory Kit a 9 out of 10 score.
