Crucial X6 & X8 Overview
Starting out with the smaller of the two drives we have the Crucial X6. This drive has dimensions of only 63.8mm x 68.7mm x 10.6mm. It is basically a little square with rounded edges than you can easily throw in your pocket. On the front of the drive there is a small Crucial logo towards the top. For those wondering the drive casing itself is plastic.
Flipping the drive over to the back it lets us know the capacity of the drive and there is a sticker with all of the warning logos and model and serial number.
On the right side of the drive there is a single USB-C connection which not only provides data transfer, but will also power the drive.
Moving on to the X8, which is basically twice the size of the X6. It has a more rectangle shape, we measured it at 110.2mm x 53mm x 11.5mm. Even though it is larger than the X6 it is definitely still small enough to easily slide into your pocket.
Unlike the X6 which is plastic the X8 has a metal chassis, which makes it noticeably heavier as well. The front of the drive has very much the same design as the X6 with a Crucial logo towards the top left. Flipping over to the back we have our capacity and again all of the warning logos and model and serial number.
It also has a single USB-C connection which is located on the right side of the drive.
