EVGA X570 DARK Motherboard Pictured

It looks like Vince “K|ngp|n” Lucido has spilled the beans again! Last month he posted a picture of the back of EVGA’s first X570 motherboard, and now he has posted to first shot of the front of the board! According to him the board will be called the EVGA X570 Dark. Like other “Dark” motherboards from EVGA, the X570 Dark is made for serious overclocking. The AM4 socket has been rotated 240° and the two memory slots sit above it. With only two memory slots there is only 1 DIMM per channel, which is optimal for memory overclocking.

At the top right corner of the board you’ll find dual POST code displays, angled power connectors, voltage measurement points, and dip switches. Being on this part of the board they are easily accessible.

For expansion there are two PCI-Express 4.0 x16 slots (x8/x8 when both are populated) as well as two PCI-Express 4.0 x4 M.2 slots. The X570 chipset is passively-cooled by a large heatsink, which is why we are not sure if it is the X570S.

It does not appear that the board has a wired network interface, but we can see antennas which we expect to be for WiFi 6E. The board will also feature EVGA’s highest-grade onboard audio solution.

No word yet on pricing.
