The RGB LEDs!
When you install your memory and power on your system the modules will instantly light up! There is nothing to install, connect, or switch on, the modules just work. By default they are set on a sort of wave where the lights change down the modules, creating a really cool effect. As the colors change the modules take on a different look, I have to say just this by itself looks better than most RGB memory modules out there.
The great looks of the lights have a lot to do with the light bar. It properly diffuses the RGB LEDs and makes it look like the bar is a single light.
G.Skill has their own Trident Z RGB software which will allow you to set different RGB modes, colors, and more. It worked pretty well and remember this kit is also compatible with ASUS’s AURA Sync, so if you have an ASUS motherboard that is compatible you will be able to control the LEDs using the AURA Sync software.
