Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 5GB Windforce OC Spotted

We let you know yesterday that NVIDIA is working on a fourth variant of their GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 5GB of GDDR5 memory. Well it looks like the first card has already been spotted, the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 5GB Windforce OC. The design is very similar to the GTX 1060 6GB Windforce OC.

This card features Gigabyte’s WindForce 2X cooling system, which makes use of two cooling fans on top of a fin stack. The shroud is the typical black with orange accents we are used to from Gigabyte.

On the back of the card is a full-cover backplate with the Gigabyte logo. The card actually has the exact same specifications as the GTX 1060 6GB Windforce OC, so we have a base clock of 1556 MHz and a boost clock of 1771 MHz in “Gaming” Mode, then there is an “OC” mode where the base clock is 1582 MHz and the boost clock goes up to 1797 MHz.

As far as memory goes the 5GB of GDDR5 memory runs at 8008 MHz which comes down to a bandwidth of 160 GB/s across a 160-bit bus. Display outputs include two DVI, one HDMI, and DisplayPort.
