DDR4 and anime styling
The B760M AORUS Ari WiFi6E DDR4 is a microATX board built around Intel’s B760 chipset. Its design features Gigabyte image character Kaminotaka Rin on the board and I/O cover. Unlike some other AORUS anime-themed products, the artwork is not illuminated.
Gigabyte’s choice of DDR4 gives builders another option on LGA1700, whose processors and B760 motherboards can support either DDR4 or DDR5, depending on the board. The Ari’s four memory slots accept up to 128GB, with speeds up to DDR4-5333 available through supported XMP profiles or manual tuning.
Expansion, storage and cooling
The primary graphics slot provides PCIe 5.0 x16 connectivity, while a secondary slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x4. Two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 sockets handle NVMe storage, joined by four SATA ports. Gigabyte includes heatsinks for the VRMs, chipset and M.2 drives, plus tool-free latches for select components.
Power delivery uses a 12+1+1-phase hybrid VRM design with 60A DrMOS components. The board also includes Smart Fan 6 controls and Q-Flash Plus for BIOS updates without a CPU installed.
Connectivity and Japan availability
Networking includes 2.5Gb Ethernet, Intel Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Gigabyte’s Wi-Fi Compass feature is intended to help users position the antenna for better reception. Rear connections include a 20Gbps USB-C port, HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort; a front USB-C header supports 10Gbps. Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC1220 codec.
Japanese sales are scheduled to start October 2 through Gigabyte’s local distribution channel, with the price expected to be around ¥26,800. A local promotion is also planned for eligible purchases, offering a mouse pad and a randomly selected Kaminotaka Rin figure subject to registration and campaign terms.
