ID-Colling has just rolled out their DK-03 Halo AMD Red CPU Cooler, which is meant to be a replacement for AMD’s Wraith series coolers. This top-flow cooler features a cylindrical aluminium heatsink with radially-projecting fins and a 120 mm cooling fan.
Compared to AMD’s Wraith Spire the heatsink does look taller, although narrower for clearance around the memory and VRM areas. There is a pre-installed clip retention mechanism that allows the cooler to support AMD AM4, AM3(+), and FM2(+) sockets.
Official measurement on the cooler are 130 mm x 130 mm x 63 mm (WxDxH) and it weighs in at about 365 g. The cooling fan can reach speeds of up to 1600 RPM, pushing 58.4 CFM of air, and a noise level of 26.4 dBA. On the top of the fan is a LED diffuser, which actually looks pretty good. The cooler can handle thermal loads up to 100W, which means you can run AMD’s Ryzen chips at their stock speeds no problem.
