Intel Arc Alchemist Desktop Graphics Cards Pushed to Late June/July

According to a source cited by VideoCardz, Intel’s Arc Alchemist desktop graphics cards will now be launching in “late Q2 or early Q3”. This puts the launch towards the end of June or possibly sometime in July. This seems to mirror Intel’s availability of notebooks that are powered by Arc Alchemist mobile GPUs as they launched in March, but aren’t expected to be available till June.

If Intel continues to push back their launch date for their desktop graphics cards they will come out around the same time as AMD’s Radeon RX 6000 series refresh or even NVIDIA’s RTX 40-series graphics cards. When Intel’s discrete graphics cards do launch the lineup will include up to five SKUs, which include the Arc A380, Arc A580, Arc A770, and Arc A780. We can assume that the A780 is the “Limited Edition” SKU. The A770 is expected to have RTX 3060 Ti level performance and is rumored to have 16GB of memory, although we’ve seen previous rumors that the card would only have 10/12GB.
