Apparently, the first benchmark results for the Rocket Lake-S architecture based, upcoming Core i9-11900K CPU have been leaked. The CPU will feature Cypress Cove core design, and it is expected that this design will provide double-digit IPC gain compared to the Skylake-based series.
The leak portrays great improvement. Core i9-11900K allegedly scored 695.4 points in the single-threaded CPU-Z benchmark proving it 19% faster than Core i9-10900K in the same test. As compared to Ryzen 9 5950X, the Core i9-11900K is almost 3% faster in the single-threaded benchmark.
As per the latest rumors, Intel will launch its 11th Gen Core series at CES 2021, but their availability is expected by the end of March or early April. Uniko’s Hardware says the processors will be officially released on 15th March.
Results of Core i7-11700K CPU in the same benchmarks were also posted by a leaker named @OneRaichu.
Currently, Ryzen 5000 series is not listed in leader scores of Official CPU-Z benchmark but below is a comparison with Zen3 based CPUs from Guru3D:
