Intel teases Tiger Lake-H, Alder Lake-S, Rocket Lake-S and Ice Lake-SP

Intel has teased its upcoming processors at CES 2021. The teaser gives information on different processor series alongside a Metro Exodus gameplay video portraying a performance comparison between Rocket Lake-S processors and AMD Ryzen CPU featuring 12-cores. As per rumors, Intel Rocket Lake-S will launch in March.

Intel 12th Gen Core-S (Alder Lake-S):

In the teaser, Intel showed its 12th Gen Core series. It is codenamed as Alder Lake-S. The series will feature hybrid technology. The technology will allow Intel to house small and big cores in a single processor. The series will be manufactured using Enhanced 10nm SuperFin architecture. Intel also made a demo of the early engineering sample. The picture of the sample shows that the CPU is attached to two memory modules. A stock Intel cooler is keeping the processor cool. It will be the first PCIe Gen5 and DDR5 platform from Intel to be showcased.

Intel 11th Gen Core-H (Tiger Lake-H):

Intel has released its 1st Gen Core Tiger Lake-H35 series. It features 4 cores and 8 threads. On the other hand, Intel is working on its H-series, which will feature up to 8 cores and 16 threads. It will also feature a boost clock speed of up to 5 GHz.

This series will be a substitute for the 45W Comet Lake-H series, housed in high-end gaming laptops. It is expected that the series will launch in May or June.

Intel 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable (Ice Lake-SP):

Intel also teased its 3rd Gen Xeon Scalable processor, which is also referred to as Ice Lake-SP. Currently, it is in production.
Intel will announce these products at CES 2021.
