It looks like Intel is ready to compete with AMD’s Ryzen 9 4900HS mobile processor as they are readying their new flagship mobile part, the Core i9-10980HK. This chip is based off the 14nm “Comet Lake-H” silicon and is an 8-core, 16-thread part with a maximum boost speed (Thermal Velocity Boost) of 5.3 GHz, all while maintaining an aggressive power target of 45W TDP.

With these specs the chip should perform somewhere between the desktop Core i7-9700K and the Core i9-9900K, both of which have a TDP of 95W. Intel is expected to launch their 10th generation Core i9 H-series processors on April 2nd, the same day NVIDIA is expected to launch their mobile GeForce RTX 20 Super series.
