Kingston HyperX Savage 128GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive Overview
The HyperX Savage USB 3.1 flash drive has the typical flash drive look. It is mostly black with a large red “X” that goes across the center of the drive. A HyperX logo adorns the center of the “X”.

Towards the one end of the drive the capacity is indicated, in our case it is 128GB. Kingston will be selling this drive in 64, 128, and 256GB versions. Also on this side of the drive is an activity LED and hook to connect the included mini lanyard.

The cap pulls off from the drive easily to reveal a USB 3.1 type-A connector. Yes, not all USB 3.1 devices use the type-C connector. USB 3.1 type-A ports are found on many of the latest Z170 motherboards and new laptops (Skylake).
