Lenovo IdeaPad S10 10.2-inch Laptop Review

Final Thoughts
I am very impressed with the IdeaPad. It has to be one of the better choices when it comes to buying a netbook. One thing that really stands out that you do not see on other netbooks is the ExpressCard slot. This gives you a lot of expandability options, it was great for me because I use a Sprint EVDO card and most netbooks wouldn’t support it, but the S10 does. Also the Bluetooth capability is nice addition; I don’t see why other netbooks don’t have Bluetooth. Having both the ExpressCard slot and Bluetooth makes only having 2 USB ports not a bad thing.

I also like that this netbook comes with a regular hard drive. SSD’s are nice, but their small storage size is nothing something that I like. I like that I have 160GB of storage on the S10. The webcam also is a plus.

Like most netbooks you have to deal with a cramped keyboard and a small battery, but that is expected. I would like Lenovo to come out with a 6-cell battery for the S10, which would really make it worth the purchase.

Out of all the netbooks out there I really like the S10, like I said the ExpressCard slot and Bluetooth really set it apart from other netbooks. I would definitely recommend the S10 to anyone looking to purchase a netbook. Overall ThinkComputers gives the Lenovo IdeaPad S10 10.2-inch Laptop a 9 out of 10 score and our Recommended Award!
