The two big names in the tablet game are Samsung and Apple, but Lenovo does have quite a few notable tablets on their hands. One of their latest, the IdeaTab A2109 has just showed up on Best Buy’s website for $299. Why is this news? Well for those looking for a low-cost tablet this is going to be another great choice besides Google’s Nexus 7, as it features the same NVIDIA Tegra 3 (1.2GHz) chip as the Nexus 7, but offers a larger 9-inch screen over the 7-inch screen of the Nexus.
While the screen in two inches larger than the screen on the Nexus 7 it does offer the same 1280 x 800 screen resolution. Other features of the tablet include built-in WiFi, Bluetooth, 1.3MP front camera, 1GB of memory and 16GB of storage. The IdeaTab A2109 is only 0.5-inches thick and weighs in a 14.1 oz. Running Android 4.0 and with a price tag of $299 it is a great choice over other more expensive tablets.
Lenovo also lists on their website an IdeaTab A2107, which is a 7-inch tablet with 3G connectivity. That should also be available very soon!
