Standard. Average. Baseline. None of these words exude much excitement, but I think they could be used to describe the MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 360. This AIO sets a standard as far as what I would consider to be minimal features needed on any modern cooler. That includes ARGB lighting, pre-installed daisy chained fans, easy installation, and good performance. These things all average out to provide a good overall experience, one that could set the baseline to which others are compared. You aren’t paying extra for features you don’t want, but the option exists with other product lines if you desire them.
As far as performance goes, the MAG CORELIQUID A13 360 really impressed me. Both idle and load testing resulted in the best temperatures we have seen so far in this new testbench. The CycloBlade 7 fans have just the right specs to work well with the 20 fin-per-inch 27.2mm radiator, even with their slightly lower specifications compared to the CycloBlade 9 fans. Either way, the combination of a full copper base with an updated water channel design, high-flowing pump, and the fan/radiator pairing resulted in great performance, especially at the price point. It does bear noting that this AIO was the loudest we have tested in the new system, spare for the max speed test, but that is mostly due to the low max RPM of the CycloBlade 7 fans.
