New Concurrent User Record Set on Steam

A new concurrent user record has been set on Steam with 27,385,025 being logged in at once over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend! This passes the previous peak of 26.9 million that was set in April. This new record did coincide with Steam’s Autumn sale in which many popular titles were on sale.

The most popular games in this time period were Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at 800,000 players, Dota 2 at 650,000, and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS with 320,000. It is pretty impressive that Steam keeps on setting records with competition from both the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store.
