The card sells online for $359.99 which is a $20 markup from the reference card. The Black Edition is $50 less than the least expensive 5870, but offers excellent performance for the 5850 series of cards. The only drawback to the entire new ATI lineup is ATI cannot get the cards to the market fast enough to keep up with demand as Newegg and other e-tailors sell out the cards faster than they can put them on the shelve. XFX has taken the 5850 above the reference clock speed and came up with an excellent card in their Black Edition version.
