Sources at Videocardz have been gathering information on the upcoming RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070. This is what they have gathered so far.
RTX 3080 Ti:
NVIDIA has recently shared the first embargo information of GeForce RTX 3080 Ti with its board partners. The information also suggests that we will get a different GPU from what we saw in the leaks. The PG132 SKU 18 board design, aka RTX 3080 Ti, will be based on the GA102-225 GPU, where previously it was rumored to be GA102-250.
While the differences between both the GPUs are unknown but sources at Videocardz claim that irrespective of the GPU change, the rumored 10240 CUDA core count will remain the same. As per the info, the card will feature 12GB GDDR6X RAM. The embargo did not reveal the specs in detail. It will be distributed in early April.
RTX 3070 Ti:
As per the previous information about 3070Ti, the AIB source has received initial specifications. The specification sheet states that the GA104-400 GPU will power the RTX 3070 Ti, which means that the card will have 6144 CUDA cores and a G6X memory controller support. The current launch schedule tells us that it will launch in May.
Further information on both the RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3080 Ti is expected to arrive in the upcoming weeks.
