NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB Variant to Launch on July 18th

NVIDIA will be capping off their GeForce RTX 4060 series with the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16GB variant. This card will officially launch on July 18th, with reviews of MSRP cards hitting the web a day earlier on the 17th and non-MSRP reviews going live the same day as the launch. Talking about MSRP NVIDIA will be asking $100 more than the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB so we are going to have a MSRP of $499 here.

rtx 4060 ti 16gb launch

This card is simply a memory variant of the RTX 4060 Ti, so instead of 8GB of VRAM you are going to get 16GB running across the card’s 128-bit wide memory interface. NVIDIA has released specifications (which you can see below), which confirm this. There is no change in the chip used, clock speed, or memory speed. The 16GB of GDDR6 will run at 18 Gbps (GDDR6-effective) which gives the card 288 GB/s of memory bandwidth. It will be interesting to see if having 16GB of VRAM compared to 8GB will make that much of a difference.
