NVIDIA Likely Not Releasing a RTX 2080 Ti Super

At their E3 event, NVIDIA launched their RTX Super series of Turing-based graphics cards. This “Super” refresh included the RTX 2060 Super, RTX 2070 Super, and RTX 2080 Super. Obviously absent was the RTX 2080 Ti Super. After the event there were quite a lot of rumors that an RTX 2080 Ti super was coming, one of the most popular was that it would be based on the same TU102-400 die as the RTX Titan graphics card.

Well I would not get your hopes up, at the event TweakTown’s Anthony Garreffa asked senior vice president of NVIDIA’s PC business, Jeff Fisher, will there be a release of GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Super graphics card. To that question Jeff replied with a simple “would not be”, which means the current “Super” lineup is complete. Also you have to think that an RTX 2080 Ti super would be very close in performance to an RTX Titan and NVIDIA wouldn’t want to compromise its sales.
