NVIDIA Likely to Launch GTX 1650 Ti on October 22

It appears that NVIDIA is gearing up to launch the GTX 1650 Ti on October 22 according to the latest rumors. This card is set to replace the aging GTX 1050 Ti and will sit between the GTX 1650 and GTX 1660. It it set to compete against AMD’s mainstream budget lineup.

According to ITHome, the GTX 1650 Ti will launch on October 22 for 1,100¥, which is about $155 in USD. Currently the GTX 1650 is $150 and the GTX 1660 is $220, so we suspect that the MSRP of the GTX 1650 Ti will run a little higher than the conversion above, unless NVIDIA plans to drop the price if the GTX 1650.

We do not know yet if the GTX 1650 Ti will make full use of the TU117 GPU from the GTX 1650 or the TU116 GPU from the GTX 1660/Ti. The card is also rumored to feature 4GB of GDDR5, which is the same as the GTX 1650 and less than the 6GB on the GTX 1660.
