“The Gamma places a premium on effective airflow with 6 fan capability including dedicated VGA/CPU cooling and a unique front panel design that allows extra air to enter through the front. NZXT also includes pre-drilled watercooling holes on the backplate and mounting holes for a dual radiator at the top. Gamma gives you everything you need for a meticulously clean build with punched motherboard holes and a turned HDD cage which keeps cabling as discrete as possible.”
The NZXT Gamma has plain black body with a unique front panel The case provides plenty of cooling options by supporting up to six fans, but unfortunately it only provides a single 120mm fan.
The front panel’s unique design only holds four 5.25” external drives. A small panel about halfway down the case houses the external connections: two USB, eSATA, and microphone and audio jacks. The panel is flat until about halfway down the case, where it angles up, rising about an inch away from the case. A longer slope angles down to the bottom of the case.
The side panel of the case is relatively plain. It only has one large section towards the rear of the panel which has room for two 120mm fans behind the fan grill.
The top of the panel has two separate fan grills which will both house either a 120mm or a 140mm fan. The rear of the case follows the black color scheme, including all components.
The only included fan can be found at the top of the rear of the case, which the white fan blades can be seen through the black fan grill. All of the expansion slot covers have holes in them to provide a better airflow. The power supply is also mounted at the bottom of the case.
Both side panels can be removed by the two thumb screws securing them to the case.
