Installation
Installation is pretty quick and easy with the Tempest 410 Elite because of the many tool-free methods integrated into the case. Starting off is the standard motherboard standoff installation and motherboard installation.

Installing an expansion card is pretty easy as well. While there are thumbscrews on the expansion slots, they are a bit tight at first and might need a screwdriver to get them starter. Other than that just simply install your card and secure it to the case by the two thumbscrews that were just removed.

Installing hard drives are also pretty easy and don’t require any tools for 3.5” drives. Simply remove one or both of the fans by pressing on both sides of the fan and pulling out. Removing both fans gives you a little more room to work with and gives you a better understanding of where your hard drive will be.

To install a 3.5” drive simply slide in one side of the drive and then slightly bend the tray to fit into the other sides screw holes; the drive only fits in one way.

Installing a 2.5” drive requires four screws and removal of the two notches on one side of the tray.

Installing a 5.25” drive is even easier than the 3.5”. Just simply remove the front panel, by pressing the switch on the bay cover to the left. Then slide in your drive until it locks into position.

There’s a lot of room behind the motherboard tray to feed and route your cables. Just spending a little bit of time to plan out your cable installation and hard drive placement will make for a much cleaner case.
