Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 Overview
Taking a first look at the memory it looks very similar to what we saw with Patriot’s Viper LED kit. You have these sleek gunmetal modules with a diamond-cut Viper Gaming logo in the center.
The design on the modules is black and then you have a black heatspreader. These are definitely some of the best-looking modules that we’ve seen from Patriot.
Flipping the modules over on each you’ll find a small sticker with all of your information. As a reminder this the PVS416G440C9K kit, which is a 16GB (2x8GB) kit running at 4400 MHz with timings of 19-19-39 at 1.45V.
At the top of each module instead of a light bar like we saw on the Viper LED kit you have a simple black insert, which does say “VIPER” on it. It actually has the same design as the light bar that was on the Viper LED kit and overall it still looks quite sleek.
Since you still have the insert at the top of the modules these modules are 1.75-inches tall, which is pretty standard for most memory kits these days.
