It has actually been a while since I’ve taken a look at a 2.5-inch solid state drive. With super-fast M.2 drives out there many people are looking to those for what 2.5-inch drives used to be, a replacement for your OS drive. We’ve come to the point now where many people are running M.2 OS drives, but need to replace their aging large-capacity hard drives with a normal 2.5-inch solid state drive. Today we will be taking a look at ADATA’s SU750 which makes use of the Realtek RTS5733DMQ controller and 3D TLC NAND. This will give you sequential read and write speeds of 550 MB/s and 520 MB/s respectively. That speed makes this drive a perfect replacement for your aging hard drive. Read on as we take a look…
The ADATA SU750 comes in a retail package that is not much larger than the drive itself. On the front of the box there is a picture of the drive and it lets us know that we do have the 1TB version.
Flipping over to the back there is a tiny bit of information about the drive. Inside the box all you will find will be drive itself.
