Phanteks Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass Edition Overview
The Enthoo Luxe Tempered Glass Edition case is a full tower case so it is quite big, the official dimensions are 235 mm x 560 mm x 550 mm (W x H x D). The case is mainly made of steel with aluminum faceplates and of course the tempered glass side panel. Currently the case is available in black and grey colors, as you can see we received the grey version of the case.
The front of the case has three 5.25-inch drive bays. Moving down there is a ventilated section that will allow air to enter the case.
Behind that ventilated section you will find two included 140 mm intake fans. The front part of the case has room for those two 140 mm fans, or two 120 mm fans, or a single 200 mm fan. When it comes to watercooling there is room for a 240 mm radiator up front. Also in the front bezel of the case you have a fan filter, although it is not easily removable if you unless you take the front bezel of the case off. There is a large filter for the bottom of the case that can be easily pulled out front the front of the case.
Moving back up towards the top of the case there is a compartment that houses two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HD audio connections, a small reset button, and a button that controls the color on the RGB LED strips. On the top of the case there is a large power button as well.
The rest of the top of the case is a large ventilated section. If you press down on it, it will pop up and you can remove it. Taking a closer look, it is a combination ventilated panel as well as a filter. The top of the case includes a 140 mm fan, but there is room up there for three actually, or watercooling radiators up to 420 mm.
Of course our side panel is that nice thick tempered glass panel. The panel covers the entire side of the case so you are able to show off everything inside. The panel is held on the side by two removable thumbscrews. When you remove the screws the side panel will open up much like a door does. This is made possible by the latches on the left side of the panel. The glass panel can be completely removed from the case as well, which is very convenient when you are doing your hardware install.
Moving around back we have the fourth included fan with this case, which is a 140 mm exhaust fan. The rear supports either a 140 mm fan or 120 mm fan. There are eight expansion slots and of course the power supply mounting is on the bottom of the case. There is a second fan filter for your power supply that is easily removable from the rear of the case.
Before we get inside let’s take a look at the bottom of the case. You can see there are actually three sets of feet that will lift the case off the ground for better airflow. You can also see the two fan filters on the bottom of the case.
