Currently there aren’t many options available in the Thunderbolt 4 Dock segment but luckily Razer has entered the Thunderbolt 4 dock market with its Thunder 4 Dock Chroma. The dock offers Thunderbolt 4 ports for any Windows or macOS devices and that too with RGB lighting.
One of the reasons why fewer options for Thunderbolt 4 docks are available in the market is the fact that it’s a relatively new technology.
The Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma offers up to four Thunderbolt 4 ports.
“The Thunderbolt 4 enabled ports dramatically expand what users can do. With a bandwidth of 40Gbps, the dock can host up to two 4K monitors or one 8K monitor, an ultra-fast external SSD for increased storage, and provides power delivery up to 90W to keep external devices charged.”
The Dock Chroma’s four Thunderbolt 4 ports offer a transfer speed of up to 40Gbps. The Dock also features a gigabit Ethernet port, an SD card reader, a 3.5mm headphone/microphone combo jack, and three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports (10Gbps), bringing the port count 10.
The Thunderbolt 4 Dock Chroma is available for preorder from Razer’s official website for a price tag of $329.99.
