Seasonic Releases its First Connect 750W Power Supply

Back at Computex Seasonic showed off their Connect power supply. It had a very unique design, which was made to de-clutter the inside of your PC by way of a spinal back-plane that runs along the height of your PC tower. Then you would have shorter cables that run out of that black-plane, which connect to all of your devices. Seasonic has just announced market release of the first unit, which will be the 750W model, the SSR-750FA.

The Connect is basically a modified version of Seasonic’s Prime 750W, which is only 140 mm long. Instead of your normal cable mess you have one large cable to comes out to the Connect module. The main unit offers a single +12V rail design, 80 Plus Gold efficiency, DC to DC switching, most common electrical protection mechanisms, and a 135 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan to keep things cool.
