Final thoughts
The biggest problem I see with the Strider Plus series is its lack of a power switch. Some people don’t care, but I’m one that does. I want to be able to shut off power without having to yank the plug or hold down the power button. I need a kill switch.
Other than that, the Strider Plus series is likely a solid candidate for your next midrange to lower-high-end build. Its modularity is a boon and its affordable price (~$140) for its quality are pretty good.
Silverstone also makes available a short cable kit for smaller cases which don’t need the longer cables provided with the Strider. ThinkComputers gives the Silverstone Strider Plus 750W Modular Power Supply a 9 out of 10 score.
