Zotac GeForce GTX 1050 Ti OC Edition Graphics Card Review

A little over a month ago NVIDIA announced both the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and GeForce GTX 1050 graphics cards. These are designed for MOBA gamers and gamers who will only be gaming in 1080p resolutions. These cards effectively replace the older GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics card. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is the more powerful of the two card featuring 768 CUDA cores spread across 6 streaming multiprocessors, 48 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and 4GB of GDDR5 memory across a 128-bit wide memory interface. Today we will be taking a look at Zotac's OC Edition of the card which features a base clock of 1392 MHz and a GPU boost of 1506 MHz. This is compared to the GTX 1050 Ti's reference speeds of 1290 MHz core and 1392 MHz GPU boost.

Details On The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Mobile Emerge

Since we've starting seeing 10-series mobile parts NVIDIA has been able to supply these parts with the same or better core-configurations than their desktop counterparts. This seems to hold true with the upcoming GeForce GTX 1050 Ti mobile variant. It will feature 768 CUDA cores, 48 TMUs, 32 ROPs, and 4 GB of GDDR5 memory across its 128-bit wide memory interface. Even better is that it will be clocked higher than its desktop counterpart!

NVIDIA Announces the GeForce GTX 1050 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti

NVIDIA has officially announced both the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and GeForce GTX 1050 (non-Ti) graphics cards. These two mainstream graphics cards are based on NVIDIA's brand new GP107 silicon, which is the smallest chip in the Pascal architecture. Both cards are designed to give enough power for MOBA gamers at Full-HD and HD resolutions respectively. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti is priced at $139, and the GeForce GTX 1050 (non-Ti) is only $109.

AMD To Drop RX 470 Price To Compete With GTX 1050 Ti

According to a report by TweakTown AMD will be competing pretty hard against NVIDIA's yet to be announced GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. So much so that they will be dropping the price on their Radeon RX 470 graphics card. AMD launched the Radeon RX 470 at $179, but will be dropping it down to $169 in wake of the GTX 1050 Ti launch.
