GALAX has joined other manufactures by announcing that they will also be offering low-profile variants of their GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti graphics cards. These low-profile variants are perfect graphics solutions for HTPC’s and other small form factor PCs.
Both cards will be offered in 2 and 4GB variants and will be clocked at 1303 MHz and 1366 MHz base for the 1050 and the 1060 Ti respectively, with boost clocks going up to 1417 Mhz and 1468 Mhz. The memory will be clocked at 7 Gbps (GDDR5-effective).
The cards are cooled by a low-profile cooler which is made up of two cooling fans that sit on top of an aluminium heatsink which has a copper base. Both cards have the same display connections with include 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 1x DVI-D, and 1x HDMI 2.0b. No word yet on pricing, but they shouldn’t be much more expensive than NVIDIA’s MSRP which is $139 for the GTX 1050 Ti and $109 for the GTX 1050.
