Thermaltake ISGC-200 CPU Cooler Review

Overview

The ISGC-200 is the second of four CPU Coolers we’ll be testing for the ISGC (Inspiration of Silent Gaming Cooler) CPU Cooler line. The unique ISGC Fan 12 is what makes this product line so unique. The ISGC-200 has a dual vertical heatsink design in which the ISGC Fan 12 resides in between. This relatively short stack of sawblade fins three, 6mm heatpipes running through them.

Each of the heatpipes is topped off with a plastic cap, 6 in total, three on each heatsink stack. The fan helps hold the two heatsinks and the fan from falling away from each other by two clips, one on either side of the fan.

The base of the ISGC-200 has an additional aluminum heatsink attached to it. It gives the CPU Cooler a little extra cooling with this simple addition to the base. The three copper heatpipes, evenly spaced apart, provide the rest of the cooling for the device.

The highly polished copper base provides the optimal surface for heat transfer from CPU to heatsink base.
