Thermaltake Overseer RX-I Full Tower Case Review

Overseer RX-I Overview
When I hear full tower I am expecting a huge case, but the Overseer RX-I is more like the size of a mid tower.  I guess since it support E-ATX motherboards and has four 5.25-inch drive bays it is considered a full tower.  This case is all black and currently is only available in this color.  Most of the case is made of SECC, while the front and top are plastic.

If you take a look at the case from the front it looks awesome!  There are some slight blue accents on each side.  As I said there are four 5.25-inch drive bays.  Most of the front of the case is covered in mesh.  Behind the mesh is a 200mm LED intake fan.

At the top of the case you have all of your buttons and connections.  You have your power and reset buttons, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports and an eSATA port.  Also on the top of the case is a hard drive dock that supports both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch hard drives.

As we take a look at the top of the case you can really see the styling that Thermaltake has put into this case.  Just like the front of the case the top is almost all mesh as well.  This case comes with one top 200mm LED fan but there is room to install another.

The side panel on the case is extruded.  There is a small window on the side panel that will show some of your internals.  There is a large ventilated section on the side panel.  You can put a 200mm fan here, but it is not included.  Thermaltake does include a fan filter though.

Taking a look at the back of the case there is another 120mm exhaust fan.  Moving down you have the expansion slots and 2 water-cooling holes.  These holes seem to be a bit larger than water-cooling holes we have seen on other cases.

As with most cases the power supply is going to be placed at the bottom.  There is a large removable fan filter that comes out of the back of the case.  Both side panels use thumbscrews which are always nice to see.

On the bottom of the case are four over-sized feet that actually match the styling of the rest of the case.  Also as we have the case flipped over you can see how long the fan filter on the bottom of the case is.
