Tt eSPORTS Shock 3D 7.1 Gaming Headset Overview
I have reviewed many different gaming headsets over the past couple of years and I would say that the Shock 3D 7.1 fits into the larger category. It is quite big and heavy, which is not a bad thing at all. The headset has the Tt eSPORTS design so it is black with red accents.
One of the first things that I noticed was the very large cushioning on the headband. This looks to be foam with a cloth covering, which is red of course. This should make the headset quite comfortable even after hours of use.
One really cool feature of the headset is its fold flat design. This allows you to lay it flat, which makes it very easy to throw the headset in a backpack or laptop bag.
Taking a look at the earcups they are designed to fit over your ears. There is cushioning covered with leather around each earcup. Each earcup features a 40nm driver and the inside of each earcup is red. The 40nm drivers should provides very impressive sound.
One the left earcup your will find a few controls. There is a volume dial, EQ button that will cycle through the 4 different EQ modes, and a 3D 7.1 buttons that will toggle the 3D 7.1 on the headset on and off. There is also a pull-down microphone on this earcup. It is bendable and pivotable and will auto-mute when you have it pushed up.
The headset is adjustable to fit pretty much anyone. The adjustable part of the headset is made up metal, which is good to see.
The top of the headband has the Tt eSPORTS logo, which is a nice touch.
The attached USB cable is nicely braided and has a gold-plated USB connector, which we always like to see.
