Unitek USB 3.0 Hub + Card Reader Overview
The Unitek USB 3.0 Hub + Card Reader is an all black unit and is mostly made of plastic. It is actually not much larger than other multi-card readers out there, but of course those extra USB ports take up some space.
Starting on the top of the unit we of course have those three USB 3.0 ports. Having them positioned up makes them very easy to access compared to being on the side or back of the unit. There is also a Unitek logo and activity LED on the top.
On the front of the unit is where you will find the multi-card reader which includes SD, MS, CF, and T-F/M2 slots for various different storage cards.
On the left side of the unit you’ll find your connections which include USB 3.0 (Type-B) and your power connection for the power adapter. I really don’t like that the USB connection is the larger Type-B, these cables are less common.
