Since Google announced its hugely popular Google Reader service will be shutting down on July 1st, tens of millions of users have been left wondering where to turn to next to get their news fix. The web giant made the shock announcement on its developers blog last week confirming that a fall in the number of users was one of the reasons for closing down the service. Google Reader users will need to seek out an alternative service. Here we take a look at some of the options that are available.


What Ever Happened To Gateway?

Starting in 1985, Gateway 2000 was the original moniker of Gateway computers. Shipped in Holstein cow markings boxes to accent the rural roots of the Iowa based company, it was supposed to be the greatest computer company of the upcoming century. And Gateway was indeed that...a record breaking company with an instantly recognizable identity. Eventually, the 2000 was dropped from the name, and it became a commonly recognized computer company.

Case Mod Friday: Valentine ZBOX

This case was build from scratch by hand, it's one heartshaped case to fit the ZBOX nano XS AD11 that ZOTAC kindly sponsor to us. Design idea was simple, do it "Valentine and cute" for women. It feature one multi layer case style (12 layers) of white acrylic and red accents. The video worklog are 7 videos full EN, called Letters, that you can see at our YouTube page. This project was build to give mine girlfriend as a V-day gift and now is with WIN 8 and XBMC, as her daily PC.

iPhone 5S Reportedly Gets June 20 Launch Event

According to two sources that have been reliable in the past, Apple will be holding its iPhone 5S launch event on June 20th. The rumor comes from Japanese periodical MacFan, which says they have learned from trusted sources that Apple is unveiling their next generation iPhone, alongside a cheaper model in June. Apple has launched their last two iPhone's in the fall, but all of the models before that were launched in the summer.

Diamond Multimedia Announces Radeon HD 7750 BizView Graphics Card

Diamond Multimedia has announced a new graphics card in their Radeon HD 7750 BizView card. This card should really appeal to HTPC and SFF users as the card is half the height of normal cards. Using Eyefinity technology users can get a maximum resolution of 5760 x 1080 in a multi-display setup. The card has a core clock of 1125MHz and has 1GB of GDDR5 memory.

17 Minute Battlefield 4 Gameplay Video Released

Battlefield 4 will be here in the fall of 2013 and you can actually already pre-order the game. To get you excited Dice and EA have released a 17 minute "Fishing in Baku" Gameplay Reveal video on YouTube. This video was shot entirely in-game and is the first glimpse of the human, dramatic, and believable single player campaign in Battlefield 4. After watching it I have to say I am pretty excited for Battlefield 4! Check out the full 17 minute video after the jump!
