The first Intel Broadwell Core i7-5775C has been spotted and aggressively overclocked as well. Remember the Broadwell desktop chips have a very low TDP of only 65W, which made many of us think that they had quite a lot of overclocking potential, which it turns out to be very true.
The guys over at HKEPC using a Core i7-5775C on an ASRock Z97 OC Formula were able to get the chip all the way up to 5.0 GHz on air cooling, with a core voltage of 1.419V. The chip also was able to crunch 32M wPrime in 4.399 seconds.
