Thermaltake has announced a new casing, Tower 100 Mini Chassis, based on the award-winning Tower 900 PC Chassis. The case features support for a large graphic card and a Mini ITX motherboard.
Both the Tower 100 Mini PC and Tower 900 Mini PC Chassis share a similar design, but with Tower 100 Mini PC’s design, airflow is on the priority list. Various holes around the chassis portray its airflow based design. It also features a vertical design along with three tempered glass panels and panoramic viewing. You can also vertically mount your graphic card in the case.
Thermaltake’s CEO Kenny Lin said:
“There is a trend among hardcore gamers who are choosing smaller cases for their high-performance computer builds. It was a major challenge to transform a full tower case like Tower 900 into an ITX form-factor. Still, the chassis was well-configured for space utilization, expandability, and cooling while also providing an eye-catching appearance. The thermal control is a top priority with such a tiny chassis. Tower 100 is a new benchmark for real ITX high-end gaming systems!”
The case features support for a GPU length of up to 330 mm. It also supports a CPU cooler height of up to 190 mm and a PSU length of up to 180 mm. The case can also support a Mini ITX motherboard of up to 6.7″ x 6.7″. It will come in two colors, black and white.
As far as the connectivity is concerned, the case features a single USB 3.1 Type-C port and two USB 3.0 ports.
The Tower 100 Mini PC will be offered with a 3-year warranty. It will be available for purchase in late January.
