NVIDIA Will Showcase GeForce RTX 30 Mobile GPUs on January 12

NVIDIA has posted a teaser video for its GeForce RTX ‘Game On’ announcements on Twitter. The teaser includes four upcoming announcements for CES 2021.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Mobility GPU:

Several leaks showcasing RTX 3080, GeForce RTX 3070, and the GeForce RTX 3060 confirms that NVIDIA will announce its GeForce RTX 30 Mobility GPUs at CES 2021. In the teaser, the GA104 GPU model is spotted, which indicated that NVIDIA might launch RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 mobile series. Both cards will feature 8GB GDDR6 RAM, but the RTX 3080 Mobile will be available in a 16GB RAM variant too. Previously NVIDIA GeForce RTX Mobility GPUs were only available for Intel notebooks, but this generation will be featured in both Intel and AMD based notebooks.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Desktop Graphic cards Announcement:

The teaser indicates NVIDIA will announce GeForce RTX 30 series desktop graphics cards. It is expected that GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB will be announced since it has already appeared in many leaks. NVIIDA might also announce RTX 3080 Ti or GeForce RTX 3070 & GeForce RTX 3080 variants.

Resizable-Bar Support:

The teaser has a picture of GeForce GPU communicating with the CPU that is directly accessing its entire VRAM buffer, which indicates that NVIDIA will announce its resizable-BAR support, which will be a direct competitor to AMD’s SAM (Smart Access Memory) technology.

New RTX / DLSS Titles:

NVIDIA also teased an upcoming title, Outsiders, which is developed by the developer “People can Fly”. Bulletstorm, Gears of War & Fortnite were also developed by them.
