ADATA XPG Spectrix D41 Overview
As a said this memory kit is not as flashy as the Spectrix D40 kit, but it has its own unique style. I do have to say this is one of the sleekest kits I’ve seen recently. ADATA offers this kit with either red or black heatspeaders, but as you can see the black version is more of a gunmetal.
We have a 16GB kit, so we have two 8GB DIMMs. Each heatspreader has a cool design towards the center, ADATA is also making use of a black PCB.
On one side of each DIMM you’ll find a small sticker that has the model number, speed, capacity, timings, and voltage. As a reminder we are checking out the AX4U30008G16-DT41 kit.
The top part of each module is covered with a white diffuser with the XPG logo in the center. This of course covers the RGB LEDs and will create an effect of a single light on the module, rather than individual LEDs.
The diffuser and slightly taller heatspeader does make these modules slightly taller than normal modules so keep that in mind.
