A day before the official launch the official press deck for the Radeon R9 Fury graphics card has been leaked by eTeknix. This gives us all of the information on the card including full specifications. The card is based on the Fiji PRO graphics processor and features 3584 stream processors, 224 texture mapping units and 64 raster operating units. Compared to the Fury X the card has 8 compute units disabled.
The TDP on the card has not changed at all though, which is odd. The card will be the first with HBM to launch in custom variants. So far we’ve only seen two custom cards, which are the ASUS STRIX R9 Fury and the Sapphire R9 Fury TRI-X. The Sapphire card actually uses the reference PCB, while the STRIX card will have a custom PCB.
The card launches tomorrow at 8AM ET. Here is the rest of the press deck.
