Colorful has launched the factory-overclocked GeForce GTX 980 Ti iGame Ymir-X Graphics Card. The card sits between the Ymir-X and the KUDAN in Colorful’s product stack. It features a core clock of 1127 MHz core, 1216 MHz GPU Boost and an untouched memory at 7.00 GHz (GDDR5-effective).
The card has a 2-slot thick, triple-fan cooling solution that has a aluminum fin stack heatsink and six 8mm-thick nickel-plated copper heatpipes. The three fans are actually temperature controlled and the card has an Colorful iGame logo on its side that will light up. The back of the card has a backplate that has the iGame logo on it.
The card has a completely custom-designed PCB by colorful, which draws power from a pair of 8pin PCI-Express power connectors. The card has a meaty 14-phase VRM that has solid ferrite core chokes, driver-MOSFETs, and poscap capacitors. The PCB also features silver instead of copper for its contact points. You also get a dual BIOS and a load-indicating LED array. Colorful did not release pricing on the card.
