AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D is shipping and could be available by the end of March. Its release was not confirmed but it turns out that AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPUs are currently being manufactured.
The initial retail shipment of these processors could arrive by the end of this month, according to data miner Greymon55 (the end of March, 2022).
The 5800X3D is the world’s first consumer processor featuring three-dimensional stacked-die architecture.
After the addition of AMD’s 3D Vertical Cache, the processor’s on-die cache was boosted from 32 megabytes (MB) to 96 megabytes (MB). It allows each of the processor’s eight “Zen 3” cores to access the additional memory. AMD believes that the “Zen 3” processor with 3D Vertical Cache provides significant improvements in the area of gaming performance.
