AMD Ryzen 7 Extreme Edition Listed Online

A very interesting AMD CPU has come up on the Futuremark database, named the “AMD Ryzen 7 Extreme Edition”. It was found by Twitter user TUM_APISAK, who says that the chip is “Renoir” based, and more than likely a mobile part since it has a low nominal clock speed of 1.80 GHz. The chip has 8 cores, 16-threads, and can boost all the way up to 4.30 GHz.

This “Extreme” edition appears to have a 100 MHz speed boost over the Ryzen 7 4800U, which is a 15W part with a 4.20 GHz max boost. The 45W Ryzen 7 4800H has the same 4.20 GHz boost clock, but higher 2.90 GHz nominal clocks. We can assume this is a 15W part, which will sit about the Ryzen 7 4800U in the product stack and will target ultraportables.
