AMD has claimed that their upcoming Radeon RX 5700 XT outperforms the original NVIDIA RTX 2070, while the Radeon RX 5700 will outperform the original RTX 2060. AMD has already disclosed the pricing for the Radeon RX 5700 XT to be $449 and the Radeon RX 5700 to be $379. NVIDIA just a few days ago released the $499 GeForce RTX 2070 Super and $399 RTX 2060 Super. With this aggressive pricing it looks like AMD will drop the prices of their RX 5700 series ahead of launch to $399 for the Radeon RX 5700 XT and $349 for the Radeon RX 5700.
So now you are getting $50 off the Radeon RX 5700 XT and $30 off the non-XT version. One thing we’ve always said is that competition is good, especially for consumers. These price-drops are a reflection of that. Now these prices have not been confirmed by AMD, but it is only a few days from the launch, so we will find out soon enough!
