Entire Intel 10th Gen “Comet Lake” Desktop CPU Lineup Leaked

Right off the heals of the AMD Ryzen 3000 series launch we have the details of Intel’s next desktop processor lineup. Apparently the entire Intel 10th Generation “Comet Lake” CPU lineup has been leaked out, this includes a total of 13 different SKUs! Sadly these processors are not on the 10nm node, it would be nice to see a 10th Generation Core lineup on the 10nm node, but we will be on 14nm+++ node. This is one more “+” than the Coffee Lake refresh.

Starting at the top of the product stack we have Core i9-10900KF. This is a 10-core, 20-thread part with a base clock of 3.4 GHz, all core boost of 4.6 GHz, and single core boost of 5.2 GHz. This is a 105W TDP part that will be $499.

Moving down the product stack is the Core i7-10700K. This is a 8-core, 16-thread part that has a base clock of 3.6 GHz and will boost on all cores up to 4.8 GHz, and single-core up to 5.1 GHz. This part has a 95W TDP and will be $389. You can see all of the 13 SKUs listed above.

New LGA 1159 Socket?

In addition to all of the new processors the datasheet also lists a new socket for the 10th generation lineup. This is rumored to be the LGA 1159 socket, so you wouldn’t have backwards compatibility with current LGA 1151 motherboards. This means we are looking at a new chipset as well, likely being called Z490. You will also get support for DDR4-3200 memory (native), which is an upgrade from the current DDR4-2666 on the Coffee Lake Refresh lineup.
