An interesting entry has been spotted in the latest AMD Linux GPU driver. It calls for “Vega 20” with six new device IDs. As we talked about before “Vega 20” is rumored to be an optical die shrink of the current “Vega 10” GPU to a newer process, either 12 m, 10nm, or even 7nm.

Currently AMD “Vega 10” is a multi-chip module of a 14 nm GPU die with two HBM2 memory stacks. AMD could shrink this die and possibly add two more HBM2 memory stacks for a new generation of graphics cards.
